Friendlies taking shape

An update on friendlies with the thoughts of Russ Penn

OUR pre-season friendly programme of matches is slowly taking shape.

As things stand, we are due to visit Alvechurch, Bromsgrove Sporting and Halesowen Town for fixtures (dates below).

Boss Russ Penn is busy finalising the full schedule, which remains fluid to say the least given the uncertainty around league start dates lower down the pyramid.

This resulted in Harriers losing out on one friendly which had been pencilled in for a number of weeks, but the gaffer insists that’s just the nature of the beast at present.

“The games programme has been a little bit more difficult because you organise all of your friendlies, and by the end of the week you’ve changed two or three of them!” he said.

“But everyone seems to be doing the same at the moment… so in that way it’s reassuring, but it can be frustrating!”

We’ll confirm any other games as and when we can on the website and social media.
