Harriers eased past Alvechurch in their latest pre-season friendly, recording a 4-1 win.
A busy first half saw the Harriers goalkeeper down to make an early save, tipping the ball around the post in the first minute.
After going close through Aaron Lloyd’s low shot, Alvechurch had the lead from the penalty spot after ten minutes when Cook tidied away from the spot following a foul in the area.
Parity was restored on 23 minutes when a great move and cross from Hemmings was finished by Morgan-Smith from close-range. Prosser then seeing a shot drive wide.
Player D for Harriers nodded over to cap a good move on 35 minutes, with the visitors taking the lead just seconds after the restart as Morgan-Smith smashed home a second from close range as the ball ran loose in the area.
On 53 minutes it was three as a confident Hemmings robbed Alvechurch of the ball at the by-line before surging past his man and slamming the ball home.
Morgan-Smith crashed wide ten minutes later in search of his third, Sam Austin also going close as he cut inside and chanced his arm. The fourth arrived courtesy of Omari Sterling-James who, just minutes in to his debut, spun beautifully on the ball and arced a shot into the top corner leaving the keeper helpless.
Sterling-James might well have had a second, too, after some great work in the final third, but blazed his final shot comfortably over the bar.
