RUSS Penn has landed a key signing with the arrival of Manchester United defender Max Taylor.
Taylor has been training with Harriers for the last couple of weeks, and featured against Stockport County in our pre-season friendly.
The 20-year-old central defender has penned a loan deal that, subject to FA Confirmation, will keep him at Aggborough for the entire campaign.
A product of United’s Academy, the Manchester-born player is highly thought of at Old Trafford, featuring at U18 and U23 level before going on to sample life with the first team. He was part of the United squad for a EUROPA League tie last season, and has already turned out for the Reds in EFL Trophy action this term.
Taylor is in line for a Harriers debut this weekend and a first ever FA Cup outing as the team face Alvechurch in the Second Qualifying Round.
Keep an eye on our YouTube channel for an interview with Max.
