Useful information ahead of Saturday’s fixture in the Emirates FA Cup…

HARRIERS are excited to welcome a sell out crowd for Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie with Reading.

Aggborough is the venue for Harriers’ first time in the Third Round of the world’s most famous cup competition since the 2013/14 season, and we’re keen to ensure that everyone enjoys their day as much as possible.

We’d ask that all supporters read through this information fully before attending:

How many tickets have been sold?

All standing and seating tickets inside Aggborough are completely sold out. Please don’t attend Aggborough without a ticket as none will be available or sold on the day.

What will be the capacity?

Despite Aggborough’s official capacity being higher, we anticipate the capacity will be approximately 5.000 supporters for this fixture.

This is due to operational, security and safety factors (including segregation, television logistics, COVID protocols and catering) that restrict the amount of space and seats we’re able to sell..

Can I still make a purchase?

No. Tickets are completely sold out.

Is there parking at the ground?

As home fans will be aware, there remains a COVID testing facility adjacent to Aggborough Stadium which is situated on the Stadium Close Car Park.

With the addition of the Adam Hewitt Limited Fan Zone and a substantial broadcast operation for the filming of Saturday’s match, parking is extremely limited for supporters.

We strongly urge that home and away fans avoid driving to the stadium to park.

Parking is available for supporters at the Severn Valley Railway station at £4 per car. Additional parking is available locally at Comberton Place, and in the town centre where charges and restrictions apply. More details are available via our local Council’s website.

Are there any COVID regulations?

In line with government guidance, we ask that you keep the following in mind:

  • Be mindful that some attendees may still be more comfortable wearing a face covering. While it may not be a legal requirement to do so outside in the stadium, we are requesting all supporters to do so where possible.
  • It is a legal requirement to wear a face covering in indoor settings such as concourse areas.
  • Scan into the Stadium using the NHS COVID-19 Test & Trace App wherever possible.  QR codes are available at the entry to each turnstile.
  • It is not at present a requirement to present a COVID Passport or negative COVID-19 test result to attend a match at Aggborough.
  • Use hand sanitiser which will be available at points around the ground.
  • For the avoidance of doubt, we would ask any supporter suffering COVID-19 symptoms to stay away from the ground and follow Government guidance.
  • We ask all supporters but particularly those in the Main Stand to be mindful that the pitch, dugouts and technical areas encompass a dedicated Red Zone for the safety of players and staff. Please do not encroach on to these areas  at any time.

What time does everything open and start?

As you likely won’t need reminding, kick-off is at 3:00pm, but fans will be able to enter the stadium from around 1:30pm.

In addition, the Harriers Arms is open from 12noon, while there’s also the Adam Hewitt Ltd Fanzone (below), also from 12noon.

What else is happening?

We’re excited to open the Adam Hewitt Limited Fan Zone in the Main Car Park in front of the Club Shop! Open from 12pm-2:30pm, at half time, and after the match, the Fan Zone will have a Bathams Bar, as well as Carlsberg, San Miguel and cider available. The Follicles will be performing live music on the Standard Motor Transport stage. This is the place to be to take in the pre-match atmosphere

At half time, keep an eye out for more fun with the Safari Park Shoot-Out on the pitch.

Is there anything else I need to know?

As a family club and as a general reminder, we would like to again put on record the following for all supporters:

  • It is a criminal offence to enter the playing field at any time during a match day. This includes the pitch itself, as well as any dugouts, technical areas and any other areas marked as a designated Red Zone. At the present time this naturally more important than ever to protect the safety of players, staff and supporters.
  • The use of pyrotechnics within a football stadium is strictly prohibited and can seriously damage people’s health.
  • The serving and consumption of alcohol is permitted in designated areas, and strictly not in view of the pitch. Please do not attempt to bring your own into the stadium as this is prohibited. We would ask supporters to only bring with them to the match essential items and to avoid large bags or rucksacks where possible. These may be searched on entry which could delay the arrival of fans into the ground.
  • The conduct of fans at ground is also covered by the National League/Football Association Ground Regulations, to which supporters give their agreement by entering stadiums.

The club has and continues to work closely with the police and will share any information it has available in relation to any antisocial behaviour by supporters.

This can lead to not only further action by the club but also the police. Such action may include bans from travel and or stadiums and, in serious cases, criminal proceedings.

Most of all…

We’re beyond proud of our players and staff who have led us to Saturday’s exciting occasion.

We know that Harriers fans will come in numbers to get behind them as we look to secure another Cup upset against higher-ranked opposition, and we thank you in advance for your incredible support.

With thanks to our Match Day Sponsor for Saturday, Grace Builders and our Match Ball Sponsor, Mazak.

COME ON YOU REDS!
