A look ahead to this evening’s League clash with Farlsey Celtic at Aggborough…

HARRIERS are ready to face a ‘wounded animal’ in Farsley Celtic on Tuesday night as they return to National League North action at Aggborough.
The Reds go into the game on the back of a triumphant FA Cup occasion at the weekend, goals from Sam Austin and Amari Morgan-Smith knocking out Championship side Reading.
Celtic meanwhile had a far less enjoyable time of it on their home turf after being beaten 6-0 by Darlington in the league.
It has been a time of some upheaval for our visitors who not long ago saw boss Adam Lakeland depart for Curzon Ashton.
All told, though, they still pose one of the toughest propositions in National League North, with Penn telling our YouTube channel: “We’re under no illusions: this is going to be a really tough game – a tougher game than Saturday.
“I don’t just mean in terms of opposition, I mean in terms of what’s happened to them on Saturday and how they respond, and how we respond after the euphoria of Saturday.
“Mentally and physically we’ll need to be at it. I know we will be and I’m looking forward to it.”
Saturday’s result wasn’t one Farsley have had to suffer often, either, with Penn adding: “They’re fighting for their lives and will be like a wounded animal after Saturday, it’s not like them.
“I’m expecting a massive reaction, but I am expecting a reaction from us as well.
“We were excellent on Saturday and we’ve got to bounce into Tuesday with the same levels.”
Harriers will assess the ‘bumps and bruises’ Penn said came out of Saturday’s Cup win, but the Reds will at least be able to involve Marcus Dinanga for the first time.
The attacker signed from Altrincham on loan before Christmas but, due to postponements and being unavailable for the Cup, he’s had to wait for his debut.
“He has [had to be patient],” the gaffer went on. “But he’s really dived in head first.
“Looking at the celebrations on Saturday, he was right in the middle of it which is fantastic.
“We want those characters at the football club and he’ll be available on Tuesday.”
Harriers and Farsley fans are reminded that there is no longer the facility to pay cash at the turnstiles at Aggborough.
You can still pay in person on the day of the game at the Ticket Office (including in cash), but this incurs a £2 increase on our standard match day prices, so your best bet is to purchase in advance of the day if you can – as this will also potentially save you some queueing!
You can do so online via our ticketing platform or, if you need assistance, by calling 01562 823 931 during opening hours.
Again, it is still possible to buy your tickets at the Ticket Office (up to 15 minutes after kick-off), but you can’t pay cash at the turnstile.
Fans may also wish to familiarise themselves with our current COVID protocols.
Kick-off on Tuesday is at 7:45pm.
