Matt Preston injury update

MATT Preston is currently receiving treatment in hospital following an injury during today’s match with Alfreton at Aggborough.

After around ten minutes of the game, Matt suffered a significant ankle injury following a challenge, leading to the abandonment of the fixture.

He received immediate care at Aggborough before being taken to hospital in Birmingham where he’s undergoing scans and X-Rays.

All our thoughts at this time are with Matt – we’ll provide fans with any further updates as and when they’re available.
