DEFENDER Tom Leak is to become the latest member of the Harriers squad after the former Walsall man agreed a deal to join the club.

Tom, 21, joined Walsall as a youth prospect and had been a professional there since 2019 prior to his departure at the end of last season.

As well as positive spells out on loan in non-league at Bath and Salisbury during his time with the Saddlers, the centre-back has also made 15 appearances for the League 2 outfit – including nine last term.

“I’m a defender that loves to defend. I love to win my headers, tackles and blocks and I love to be part of a defensive unit that keeps clean sheets.

“I’ve had good conversations with the Manager and Jimmy and I’m looking forward to getting started and working with them.

“It is a team that’s going places and I wanted to be part of it.”

Tom has agreed a one-year deal, subject to FA and National League confirmation, that sees him become a Harrier from 1st July.
