Tuesday: Final Alfreton preview

Important reminders ahead of Tuesday night’s play-off clash….

HARRIERS head into the Play-Offs with an Eliminator tie at Alfreton Town on Tuesday night.

The two sides confirmed their places in the end-of-season lottery as Alfreton drew 1-1 at Brackley Town while Harriers swept aside Kettering 3-0.

It sets up a meeting at the Impact Arena, with the two previous meetings with Alfreton this term ending 1-1 and 0-0 respectively.

Russ Penn knows it will be a similarly tough tie on Tuesday, but hopes momentum is on Harriers’ side.

He said after full time against Kettering: “They’ve had an excellent season and we’ve had an excellent two months, reflected Penn.

“I think that sums it up: they’ve consistently got points on the board, and we’ve just done it full throttle for the last two months.

“Full respect to Billy; they’re going to fancy their chances at home, but our away record is the best in the league so we will go there full of confidence.”

Kick off at Alfreton Town is at 7:45pm.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FANS:

Fans can purchase match tickets online, in advance by visiting the Alfreton Town ticket website.

This method is strongly recommended, as while it is possible to pay by cash or card on the turnstile, this could lead to significant queues or delays. There is a limited number of seating available on a first come, first serve basis.

Most importantly, we remind fans to please arrive at the ground early to avoid lengthy queues. Entry is via the Alma Street turnstiles.

Limited away travel remains available from the club.

There is also no car parking at the stadium, though there are two public car parks within a ten-minute walk, one on Rogers Lane, DE55 7FF and the other on Severn Square Car Park, DE55 7BJ, both are pay and display.

If you can’t make the match, fans can watch the game in full at The Harriers Arms where it will be streamed. Entry is £2 and tickets are available online.

Fans wishing to watch from home can do so with a £9.50 streaming pass via National League TV.
