Preston extends Harriers stay

PHIL Brown has spoken of his “delight” at being able to extend Matt Preston’s stay at the club until the end of the season. 

Preston, who has battled through injury at times this season and his first spell at the club, was approaching the end of his deal at Aggborough.

Brown has moved to tie this up, explaining: “I’m absolutely delighted.

“At Swindon I thought I had an opportunity to work with Matt and it was whisked away from me.

“I’m delighted I can work with him as I thought I’d have one game and he’d be gone again!

“He’s had a horrible injury… but Matty committing until the end of the season is an absolute delight.

“I am looking forward to his contribution on and off the field of play.”
