A look ahead to Saturday’s game with Leamington…

HARRIERS host Leamington at Aggborough on Saturday with Phil Brown determined for his players to put behind them Tuesday night’s defeat.
The boss wants the Reds to shrug off the disappointment of the 4-0 set-back at King’s Lynn when the Brakes come to Worcestershire.
The reverse in Norfolk brought to an end an impressive recent run for Harriers, but Brown feels this is indicative of a division that’s yet to really yield any true consistency.
He said: “The level of inconsistency in the National League North is quite alarming.
“We’ve just got to get back on that consistent trail. To go eight games without defeat, and win six of them, it’s a lot to talk about, but it’s on the back burner and you need to address the next one and that’s what we didn’t do [at King’s Lynn].
“I think we maybe thinking we’d cracked it, and you never think that in this game of football, it just comes back to haunt you, and on Tuesday night I think it did.”
Harriers will welcome back Zak Brown from suspension on Saturday after he missed the game on Tuesday following an accumulation of yellow cards.
Brown was hopeful, too, that Maz Kouhyar may be fit enough to play some part in the game as he manages a foot issue. While it’s thought neither Reece Devine or Tope Obadeyi will be too far away from a comeback, Saturday may come too soon.
Ruled out are Alex Penny (back), Luke Summerfield (leg) and Ben Beresford (ankle) – Brown confirmed the latter could face as much as six weeks out of action after sustaining an injury in training.
The return of Brown and Paul Downing, who played in midweek, are nonetheless a welcome boost to Harriers who’ve struggled for numbers in recent weeks.
Tomorrow’s challenge is a sturdy one, too, as Paul Holleran’s Brakes come to Aggborough looking to bounce back from a midweek defeat of their own.
In more recent weeks they’ve struggled for points with set-backs against Needham Market, Scunthorpe and Chorley, but prior to that had beaten King’s Lynn to show their obvious mettle.
“I have massive respect for them and what they give,” added the boss.
“I think they have the league’s leading goal scorer as well, so when you’re difficult to break down and you’ve got someone who can put the ball in the back of the net, it’s a danger.
“What Leamington can throw at us, we’ll certainly be ready for, but we want to put behind us what happened on Tuesday night and hopefully the players will do exactly that on Saturday.”
Kick off on Saturday at Aggborough is at 3pm.
