HARRIERS have added further to their squad on the eve of the season with the signing of teenage defender Louis Francis.

Louis has been with the club throughout the summer and featured extensively in our pre-season programme of games as Player B.

The 18-year-old is of fine footballing pedigree, the grandson of one of the icons of the game in the late Trevor Francis.

Centre-back Louis has spent time in Walsall’s Academy set up and, more recently, at Port Vale up until the end of last season, featuring on the bench in the Carabao Cup last August.

Spells in non-league saw Louis join Stafford Rangers and Alvechurch last term, with Francis now settled in the Aggborough squad after penning a contract with Harriers.

Welcome, Louis!
