Latest Promotion Final update

THE National League has confirmed a 12:30pm kick off for the Promotion Final on Saturday, 9th May 2026.

Harriers will travel to South Shields to battle it out for a place in the National League.

At a meeting between clubs and the National League on Sunday, Harriers did raise their concern over the early kick off – which will naturally present logistical difficulties to travelling supporters on the day – and suggest a later start time.

It was confirmed that the kick off times, which will remain as stated, were positioned not only with the competing teams in mind but so as to maximise the exposure of both North and South Promotion Finals, which are both televised.

It was also confirmed that South Shields and Harriers will continue in dialogue in the coming days to confirm ticket sale arrangements – we have been assured that no away tickets will be made available until this process is completed.

Harriers will receive an allocation of around 1,100 tickets for the game. As this amount only equates to roughly that of our Season Ticket base, the club is presently working quickly to explore options that will hopefully enable all of those Season Ticket holders wishing to travel to the Final to be able to purchase a ticket.

Away travel will also be available from Harriers – again details will be shared in due course.
